Notable Maryland Authors

The Notable Maryland Author articles and associated Fun With Words writers' prompt are the centerpiece of the Maryland Writers' Association 30th Anniversary Program. Each month, MWA will send an article about one of the Notable Maryland Authors shown below to several newspapers and each County Arts Council for publication. We hope that Marylanders will read the articles, feel challenged by the Fun With Words writers' prompts, and try their hand at writing and have fun playing with words. Readers who respond to the writers' prompt are encouraged to paste their result in this website's "Submit Fun With Words" page. Each person who submits a prompt will receive a Fun With Words Submission Certificate by email.
